This is The Good Report — a bi-weekly reflection from the journey of co-creating with God. Here, I share the behind-the-scenes of building, believing, and becoming.
My hope? That you feel seen, stirred, and reminded that building what God has given you is divine work and your partnership with Him is the secret sauce.
🔨 The Process
Two weeks ago, I stood beneath the canyons of Zion National Park and let the stillness speak for itself. This was the kind of stillness that doesn’t demand performance or production…just presence.
It felt good to touch grass, unplug, and be with my family without needing to “be on.” I haven’t slept that deeply in a long time. Every morning, I picked a new coffee shop to sit in and watch the sun rise over the canyons.
It was just me, my latte, and the Creator.
I call those “Just Jesus moments” — when nothing spectacular is happening but somehow, everything is amazingly beautiful.
☕ Have you had a Just Jesus moment lately?
I’d love to feature a few in upcoming Good Reports. You can reply to this email. No pressure, just presence.
Back home, I jumped back into work with a branding team for two:ten, and y’all — I absolutely love where the brand has landed. It feels like it carries the weight of the vision.
I’m also working closely with a community strategist to relaunch the Faith In Her community. It’s been deeply clarifying… but not without its challenges.
As we’re planning the roadmap for launch, I’ve felt waves of discouragement and overwhelm come over me. The kind that comes when fear disguises itself as “practical caution.”
I’ve gotten used to this middle part of the journey, the building phase, the dreaming stage. But launching means leading. It means owning the weight of what’s been placed in your hands.
And here’s the truth:
I’m afraid I won’t be able to sustain what I’m building.
If I get easily tired now, how will I carry this full-time and beyond?
Maybe you’ve asked yourself similar questions in your own journey.
Where do fear and fatigue show up for you when you're building something new?
Take a moment this week to check in with your capacity, not just your schedule, but your soul.
What might God be inviting you to surrender or simplify?
👥 The People
This last stretch has reminded me of the beauty in partnership with God and with people. From family time in Zion to working alongside creatives I trust, I’m learning how to lean on others before I reach burnout. (It’s still hard for me, but I’m learning.)
Here are two things I’ve been reminding myself:
Invite people in early. Don’t wait until you’re burnt out to ask for help.
Pray for the right people in your corner, not just available ones. God is intentional with alignment, and the right voices around you can multiply what God’s asked you to carry.
Whether it’s a prayer partner, a collaborator, or a friend with a listening ear…partnership is provision!
💭 The Emotional + Mental Toll
Honestly…some days, I’m full of clarity and other days, I’m in a total breakdown, full of tears. (My girlies can relate, this happens at least once a month...more often than not. IYKYK)
I’ve been carrying the quiet fear that maybe I’m not cut out for this part. That launching something like Faith in Her will expose how limited I am.
But I’m also learning that fear often shows up when we’re close to doing something that matters. Close to breakthrough!
These emotional waves have made me realize something: the next season I’m stepping into will require a deeper kind of faith and a deeper kind of action.
Not just belief in what I’m building, but faithfully trusting in the process God is using to build me.
Let’s take resilient faith deeper. The kind that doesn’t just hope for outcomes, but stays anchored in obedience.
🙏🏾 Faith & Resilience
My motto has always been: faith without works is dead. But lately, God has been showing me a deeper truth: faith is not just motion…its obedience.
A few reminders that have anchored me lately (sharing these in case you need them too):
More is less. Let me tell ya…this is a hard concept for me to grasp at times. When we try to do the most, we can end up overwhelming both ourselves and the people we are called to impact. I’m choosing simplicity with intention. You should try it–Your brain will thank you!
“Go.” One of Jesus' go-to instructions. (Pun intended.) We think we need to be fully prepared and ready before we move, but God often says Go first, I’ll meet you where you’re at and equip you for where you’re going.
Proverbs 3:3 — "Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.”
This verse reminded me that love and faithfulness aren’t passive. They require action. Even when it’s hard. Even when you don’t feel ready…GO!Stillness is faith in action too. Don’t get caught up in constant doing. Rest might feel like the opposite of action, but if there’s one thing I learned on my trip to Zion, it’s that being still and making space for rest is a bold act of obedience and faithfulness. Sometimes, the most spirit-led thing you can do is pause.
